The Lee Thompson School Supply Giveaway to a Star Teacher
In schools across Houston, teachers and staff work incredibly hard at one of the hardest jobs there is – raising tomorrow’s generation of learners and leaders. This year, The Lee Company wanted to reward one of Houston’s best teachers. And we let our customers and the public at large let us know who that would be!
We ran a Teacher Giveaway contest for people to nominate their favorite teacher in need of extra supplies. The top nominee would have their Amazon Wish items purchased.
Honoring Houston’s Educators
Houston is also home to countless passionate educators who go above and beyond to inspire and educate the next generation. From inner-city schools to suburban classrooms, teachers in Houston face diverse challenges but continue to strive for excellence in their teaching.
The Lee Thompson Company’s Teacher Giveaway was a way to acknowledge these efforts. The contest invited nominations from community members, encouraging them to share stories about teachers who have made a significant difference in their lives or the lives of their children. The response was overwhelming, with heartfelt tributes pouring in for educators who have left an indelible mark.
Houston Teacher 2024 Winner
Our Houston Teacher winner was Caroline Marney! Caroline has spent almost 2 decades as a special education instructor in the Houston Independent School District. She was named as an incredible educator that is making a difference every day in her classroom.
We hope this donation will help make sure she had the tools she needs to inspire and empower her students.
Why Education Matters
Education is super important for our kids – especially provided by excellent instructors. They give them the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in life and moves our communities forward.
