Meet the Team
Scott Thompson
At about only 5 years of age, Scott Thompson remembers a poignant conversation around the kitchen table between his father and grandfather about starting a business here in Houston. This was 1961. Scott chimed in that if his dad started this business, he would come take it over when he grew up. And just about 2 decades later, that’s exactly what he did.
But unfortunately, it happened sooner than planned. In 1984, Scott was early in his career and working for a consulting engineer in Houston. But tragedy struck when his dad passed away from a sudden heart attack. So Scott quit his job and immediately took over the company, at the time rather small but filled with very good employees.
In his first year in charge, Scott worked tirelessly to keep the company growing, which he did quite impressively by managing to break $1 Million in sales that very first year!
Before he took over the business, Scott attended Texas A&M and has received his Mechanical Engineering Degree and is a Registered Professional Engineer for Texas.
Scott and his wife Gayle have raised two daughters here, now both grown up. It can be hard work running our company keeping homes and businesses all across Houston cool and comfortable. So in his downtime, Scott just enjoys relaxing and hanging out, especially when he can get out boating on Lake Conroe.
Joseph Phillips
Joseph Phillips is our General Manager at The Lee Thompson Company. With a decade of experience under his belt, Joseph joined us in 2020.
As a native Houston resident, Joseph lives here with his wife Abbie and their two boys – a teenager and a toddler.
When he’s not busy keeping the company operations humming, Joseph likes to spend time in the great outdoors from hunting, fishing, barbequing or even ATVs. He also enjoys working on anything electrical or mechanical.
Robert Cortez
Robert Cortez is one of our talented installers at Lee Thompson Company. With nearly 20 years of experience, he joined our team back in 2018.
Robert was born and raised here in Houston. He attended James Madison High School. He now enjoys spending his free time cooking, reading and being a grandpa.
Robert Kenneth
Robert Kenneth is Lee Thompson’s Office Manager. He’s been a member of our team since June of 2014.
Robert is originally from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania where he attended Purdue. But he’s also lived in some other interesting places including China, India, South Korea and Taiwan!
He and his wife Rosette have three daughters, all grown up now. Robert enjoys reading, swimming, playing basketball, watching film noir, and going to concerts. He is a drummer!
Joe Salazar
Joe Salazar is an installer here at The Lee Thompson Company.
He is a native of Houston, Texas and attended Madison High School. Joe lives here with his wife Sylvia. He enjoys anything to do with cars and spending time with his family.
Christopher Munz
Christopher Munz is our Commercial Sales Account Manager and has been with The Lee Thompson Company since 2021.
He is a native of Houston, TX, and attended school at Scarborough and HCC. Christopher has 2 daughters. He enjoys going to concerts, fishing, bird hunting and going to basketball games.
Keith Waters
Keith Waters is one of our long-trusted Service Technicians here at The Lee Thompson Company. He’s been with us a very long time, having joined the team in 1995.
Keith is originally from Newport, Rhode Island and attended Dobie High School and later San Jacinto College. Keith and lives here with his wife, Debra. When he’s not busy keeping the AC running for our customers, you can find Keith out at the beach or somewhere fishing.
Eliseo Almaraz
Eliseo Almaraz is one of The Lee Thompson Company’s most experienced AC techs. He joined the team way back in 1991!
Originally from Mexico, Eliseo lives here in Houston with his wife Diana. They have 5 children, now all grown up. He enjoys spending his free time fishing and gardening.
Stephen Rodriguez
Stephen Rodriguez is an HVAC Tech at The Lee Thompson Company. While he’s one of the newest members of our team who joined us just back in 2023, he came to us with nearly a decade of heating and cooling experience.
Stephen is a native of Houston. He attended Cesar E. Chavez High School.
As if the job doesn’t have him running around enough, Stephen enjoys actually running on his time off! He loves participating in 5K races.
Deborah Morgan
Deborah Morgan is The Lee Thompson Company’s Accounts Receivable. She’s been handling our books for over a decade, having joined the team in 2010.
Deborah grew up right here in Houston. She attended Phillis Wheatly High School before going off to earn her Associates Degree. She has two grown children, a daughter and a son.
In her off time, she enjoys sports (especially football and baseball) and volunteering.
Polo Estrada
Polo Estrada is an estimator here at The Lee Thompson Company.
Originally from Brownsville, Polo joined the company in 2000. He earned his certification in EPA Universal.
Polo is kept very busy in and out of work. He has 8 children! He loves a good meal. His hobbies include cooking and barbequing with friends.
Cathy Ditson
Cathy Ditson is the Bookkeeper Assistant here at The Lee Thompson Company and joined the team back in 2008.
She was born in the Bronx, New York. She earned her bookkeeping certificate at the School of Bookkeeping.
Cathy and her husband Richard have three children (1 boy and 2 girls) as well as six grandchildren! Cathy has a lot of interesting hobbies including crocheting and gardening. She enjoys travelling the state in her jeep looking for the perfect off-road trip.
Estella Cruz
Estella Cruz is one of The Lee Thompson Company’s dispatchers. She’s been with the company since 2005!
A Houston native, Estella attended HISD. She’s received certifications in Power Coaching, In-Person Training, Customer Service, and Call Handling Professional Power Pro.
Estella is married to her husband, Stephen, and has a teenage daughter and two adult children. Estella loves giving back to her community. She does a lot of volunteer work including with the Astros Foundation and with her church. She loves spending time with family and friends, especially hosting birthdays and holidays.
Norma Ibarra
Norma Ibarra is one of the team members who makes sure to get our AC techs out to your home as quickly as you need us! Norma is one of The Lee Thompson Company’s friendly dispatchers.
She grew up here in Houston and attended Reagan High School. Norma has two lovely daughters, both now young adults. When not busy handling the important calls at work, she enjoys spending her free time cooking and going to concerts.
Terrence Johnson
Terrence Johnson is one of our very trusted AC technicians! Terrence joined the company back in 2012, already with nearly a decade of experience under his belt.
Terrence is originally from Buchanan, Liberia. Buchanan is their third largest city, previously known as Grand Bassa. He attended the HVAC Training Center in North Harris, Colorado. There he received his Associates Degree.
Terrence and his wife Lydia have three children, two school-age boys and an adult daughter. One interesting tidbit about Terrence is that he is also a DJ! In fact, he runs a DJ service called “DJ Terrence.”
Robert Crow Salazar
Robert Crow Salazar is our lead tech at The Lee Thompson Company. He joined the company back in 2008.
Robert is a Houston native and attended Klein Forrest High School. He has three sons.
When he’s not busy keeping homes across Houston cool and comfortable, Robert enjoys going to the beach, barbequing, taking trips and spending time with family.
BreAuna Roundtree
BreAuna Roundtree is the CSR/Dispatch for The Lee Thompson Company. She’s relatively new to the team, having joined us just in 2023.
In her free time, BreAuna enjoys gardening and reading.
Xavier Lonzo
Xavier Lonzo is a Service Technician with The Lee Thompson Company, having joined the team back in 2019. Although he’s been a member of our “family” for much longer – his father did HVAC work for The Lee Thompson Company.
He was born and raised right here in Houston, TX, and attended Cypress Falls High School.
When he’s not busy at work, Xavier likes to spend his time reading and watching WWE Wrestling. He is also a huge Harry Potter fan!
